Once again it has been a long time since I've thought about trying to add another post to here... a whole year and a half!! Joseph has came a long ways since his 8 lbs 6 oz days... he's now around 30 lbs and running around and opening doors (even unlocking them!!). We recently changed his bed into a toddler bed so he can now get in and out on his own. We had to do that after he started crawling over the wall of the pack and play on his own... we can't have him falling out of the crib from the height of the crib walls. He is so much fun to be around. He loves the outside!! We've been through several seasons and we now know he loves playing in water and playing in the piles of leaves as well. And boy is he fast! He loves playing on Sam's trampoline and actually knows how to bounce on it too... he can get some good air for his age :-) He's so much fun and Rebecca and I both could not be more proud!! And now with his baby sister on the way he's going to have to learn to be more independent. Oh and of course now he's starting to talk a lot. He knows all his basic words: cat, dog, da da, ma ma... and he knows how to make the sounds of: cats, dogs, dinosaurs, horses, snakes, and he'll stick his tongue out like a lizard... the best one though is whenever he sees a deer he'll make a sound like a bow and arrow or a gun :-) credit me for that one!! He's out little Joseph and I can't believe how fast he's growing up. I can't believe he'll be two in May!! I'll try to do a better job of keeping this up to date for him to read one day but in the mean time we just try to keep up with him and always tell him how much we love him!! We love you boy! You are the man!! Even when I forget to buckle him back into his car seat after getting him out while looking for lost keys at WalMart and then half way home I realize that he's standing in the back floor board when he reaches up and pats me on the head with a smile and says "dada".. I love that boy!!

Wow I cannot be belive it has been since Sept that I have posted a message. I'm sure there were other milestones that I missed posting on here, but the biggest of all was of course that Joseph was born on May 11th at 7:45PM. 7 lbs 13 oz and 21 inches long via C Section. He was healthy and happy. Mom tried pushing for about an hour but Joseph just would not turn his head and enter the birth canal so C Section it was. What a true true blessing!!! We had went into the hospital in rm 201 on Monday the 5/10/2010. He was born on Tuesday and we finally left the hospital on Friday the 14th. He did get a home knitted camo hat before we left the hospital. Not planned at all, they just happened to have it there... I suppose its just destiny. He is now 16 days old. We had our share of early scares at home. After going he had no BMs until after we had already taken him to the after house clinic on Sunday. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz I think at that time. But then by our Wednesday appt on the 18th he was at 7 lbs 8 oz I think. Which is good. Yesterday the 26th, he was 8 lbs 4 oz and today he is 8 lbs 6 oz according to Chasta our nursing consultant. He is eating good now and moving along great!! He is such a good boy, wide eyed and perfect!!

The checkup went well. Very interesting learning experience for me I suppose. Nutrition is all well and everything looks good. They keep the 12th of may down as the due date so we'll say sometime between May 12th and May 16th.

Becca informs me of her home test that is positive while I’m working on some PHP stuff for Scott and the Carter Co inventory system. I thought she was going to complain about some torn clothing as she says ‘Come here I want to show you something’ as we walk towards the bathroom. Then she surprises me by holding up the test strip. She calls her sister Jessica and tells her to which she response “You too!”. Her sister has known for about a week but hasn’t told anyone either. We then open the flood gates and tell everyone. Rebecca says not to tell anyone until it is official by a doctor, but I can’t wait, I tell everyone!! By rough estimates (online form to complete by period cycle) Becca’s due date is May 18th
