Good morning Eddie, Alex, all my family and friends. We will be flying out from Belize today around 1:15pm Belize time. This has been an awe-inspiring week for all of us. Please continue to pray for Belize, Body N Soul Ministries, and for the seeds that have been planted this week. We serve a might God who has done mighty works here in Belize.

Today, we are being blessed once again in the clinic. Busy, busy, busy. we have seen some very interesting disease processes in this tropical setting. Today is a sweltering sunny day. God is good and we are being blessed every day. Funny story, we ladies awakened to a surprise this morning. On our early morning bathroom trip, we were greeted by a scorpion in our room. Talking about 5 laughing squealing women...lol...We have had a blast together. And, before we turned in, Yvette had an Iquana for us to see. And, she is cooking it today. Hmmmm, I dunno about that...lol...God bless my family. I love you and miss you. Eddie and Alex, thank you for understanding and allowing my presence here, in Belize. Maybe God will bless us, as a family to return to this beautiful people and their land. There is still much work to do here.

Good morning, Ed. Hope this finds you guys doing well. We, too, had issues with the internet and could only get on intermittently. I tried, very unsuccessfully, to get on long enough to contact you last night. But,we had a marvelous day yesterday. I know that we saw over 100 pts in the clinic from 8:30am - 2:30pm. And, then we visited 'The Valley of Peace' village. Here, we visited a man that had a tree to fall on him, hitting him in his head on Friday afternoon. We found out that he had been knocked out for approx. 2 hrs, was taken to the hospital, sutured, kept overnight, and sent home. They did do an x-ray and we know that he has skull fractures. Otherwise, no other treatment or CAT scans were done. But, Praise God, he is awake and alert. The wound looks good. A woman in the village has chosen to come out and care for him changing his dressing. We cleaned and redressed his wound, left bandage supplies, and a little extra medication for him. It's amazing how people live and are so satisfied with life. They are such a compassionate and caring people. We are off to another day of clinic today. We do have some people in need of medical help that we expect today. Sort of like an appointment. Breakfast is being prepared. Mmmmmmm, pancakes and bacon, oh, and some pineapple. Love to you all!!! Have a wonderfully blessed day today!

We only had intermittent internet throughout the day. It's working OK now so I'm trying to upload some pictures from the past two days. Everyone is doing fine! Estuardo, our camp hand, cut his hand and had to be bandaged up today. As far as our team goes, the worst thing that's happened so far is some bug bites with swelling. Everyone is eating great (really, great, you have no idea how awesome these women cook!) and we're working extremely, extremely hard! Keep us in your prayers! Today (Tuesday) is expected to be a very very busy day in the clinic.

The weather is beautiful today. Just right. The first day of the Clinic has been overwhelming. Everything is going great and all the team are well. We will shut down the clinic at 3:00 pm today and the team will be going to Valley of Peace to check on a man that a tree fell on his head and is in pretty bad shape. We will also do a beans and rice feeding while we are there. Please keep the team in your prayers. God Bless....

To my wonderful son, "Happy 21 Birthday!!!" This has been an awesome experience, thus far. And, we've only just begun. God is definitely here in this place. I am so blessed to be with such a Christian group. Today, we will be in church, twice. PTL! This afternoon, we will go through the clinic, chill out, and fellowship. God said; "go forth." I answered and I am here. Seeking His guidance, will, and blessings here in Belize. Love to my family. Hello to my mom, Marsha & family, Kim & Dewayne, Alice & Charles, Oak Ridge Baptist, all my fb friends, and my loving husband "ED." Take care of my lil' Maggie...lol

Brenda, I flew first class from Atlanta to Belize. Debra Neizer had the flight crew move me. What a nice experience for me. Our flight was delayed and we did not fly out of Atlanta until 1:oo pm. We were late getting here but the team is fine and everyone well. PaPa Joe did devotions last night and did a wonderful job. He also played his banjo and sang. We are going to Lagoon Road Baptist this morning for church. We all slept under blankets last night. The temperature was probably upper 60's. The compound was in great shape. Bob Brake has done a wonderful job in preparation for our trip. I will post more later. Love and miss you all. God Bless.....
