April--old friends and new ones...as your week ends you will all have touched the lives of people you will never see again but will carry with you for the rest of your lives and hopefully share with hundreds of others. Hey Wes aka Bub! Shew tonight is bittersweet for you all I am sure! It is for me...I am certainly ready to see you tomorrow night! But I know what a great time you have had and what a Wonderful experience it has been for you all! and you will miss it all! After that first morning and evening I must admit I was very sad for you, I know how worried you were about EVERYTHING! I thank God for watching over you on your first plane ride and your second (lol) but I also thank Him for such good God loving people like those you are with, and I thank all of them for making you feel like part of them! I know you were a little worried about being an "outsider"! I am so glad you feel like you have made some new friends! You all have shared an experience with each other that only you share! you al are such a blessing to so many, there is not very many "college kids" willing to spend their Spring Break doing what you all have done! I am sure I speak for many when I say Thank you for so freely giving of yourselves and I know God has and will bless you for this good thing! It was so good to hear you chat and kid with the others when we talked on the phone this week, it gave me a peace that you really were happy and having a good time. Caleb, It has truly been a blessing to watch you guys grow in the Lord, this week. I have been blessed to be able to see and hear from you at hear, hearing about your adventures and work that has been done. You can tell that you guys have seen and heard a lot this week. It's amazing how differently we live compared to others. What is so amazing is how we take so much for granted, never giving a second thought to those who are so less fortunate than us. We have good homes/houses with heat/air, water, and 3 meals a day. When in reality, there are those, like you have seen & met this week, who have so little. Yet, they know no difference and survive, laugh, and love everyday. Wow, what a life-changing experience for you guys. I am proud of all of you for the jobs you've done and the time you've given of yourself and in helping those in need. Hi Wes and team! I missed the pics this morning! Hope you all are doing well! And I certainly hope you enjoy the weather there...as it is snowing here and very cold again! The roads are getting slick, well the back roads, in town the road was white, the 4 lane was also! but they didn't seem to be too slick yet, at 9p.m. we probably have about 2-3 inches here in Pound I guess. And its in the low 30's! I heard that the south bound lane on 23 was closed going to Norton, but I also heard school was closed and I checked and it is on delay so you know how that goes when you work at a small town grocery store, you hear everything and can't believe half of it! lol Ok I know I write long msgs. sorry! I jsut enjoy being able to keep in touch, and enjoy the pics and narratives everyday, Thanks sooooooo much for taking the time to do this on here, so we can see & read about all the great things going on there! Wow! I just looked at the pics from day 3!!!! I loved all the pics from day 1 and 2 but these are my favorite by far!(so far lol) It just touched my heart to actually see what you all are doing there! I knew why you are there, but goodness to see the pics of the the church service and especially the clinic you did yesterday was so moving it really just touched my heart in a big way! Dad (Layton) Sounds like you all are having a great time. I can't wait to hear more about it. Seeing the pics and reading the narrative makes me sad we couldn't go this year. Maybe we can go back again soon. Tell everyone me and Jeff said hello. They started the new tin roof on popaw's house. It looks really good and he is very proud of it. I got a call from Rachel tonight and she wanted me to let you know she found out she is pregnant again. She was trying to call you herself because she is so nervous and just wanted you to say a special prayer for her and Steven. So I told her I would message you. Everything is fine here. We had another pretty day in the 70s. Hope the plans are coming together for Uriah Church. We miss you, love you, and will keep praying for you and the team.

Tauna, we played for the championship against a very tall and fast team. We lost in 3 overtimes by a score of 32-31. The girls played real hard, we had several chances to win but it was not to be. Wish you could have seen the way Nyla was playing today. She played real well. Everyone at church ask about you, I tried to explain where Belize was located. Hello to all of you. Hope you had a smooth flight and have settled in at the compound. I know God has a great week in store for you to put your talents to use. I hope you got to eat at Cheers on the way there; although Yvette's cooking is 10x better. Dad, we had a really nice day here. The weather was great. Jessica, Lindsay, and Sam are on their way home and Lindsay made Sam go down the waterslide 3 times. He would not discuss it with me, so I'm not sure if that meant it was traumatic for him.
