Messages To Belize Team

My spouse and i ended up being very eceitxd that Edward managed to do his web research through the ideas he grabbed from your web site. It's not at all simplistic to just find yourself offering information and facts that many many people might have been making money from. And we discover we need the website owner to thank for this. The main illustrations you've made, the simple web site menu, the friendships your site assist to promote it's got everything powerful, and it's letting our son in addition to our family reckon that this situation is brilliant, which is rather indispensable. Thanks for all the pieces!

Hey dad! I'm so glad to know that you are coming home soon!! We have really missed you lots! By the way, Tiffany and I have decided that your passport has been revoked, and the good Lord has missionary work for you here in Tennessee! We will be leaving for the beach around 6:00 or 7:00 in the morning. Hope you have a safe trip back, and I will see you next Friday. I miss and love you dad very much. Call me Sunday night when you get in (no matter what time it is). Jerry, Alyssa and Jordan say hello. Love ya.

Dwight,It's almost over and soon you"ll be on that plane headed for Kingsport. (25 more hours) I'm sure you will leave with a lot of good memories and blessings. Tina and Tiffany will be much calmer when you get home. I wish you were here for church tomorrow. Take care and see you soon. I love you. See you at the airport. Leona

Dad - Last day is finally here. I pray you all will have safe travel tomorrow. The Bakers are on their way to the beach today and probably have arrived there by now. Mom had her dental work yesterday and had a hard time with the numbing part of it but other than that did well. She is doing much better today she said. Lee is playing golf today with church so I am here with the girls by myself today. Hopefully he will be home soon. Again, hope your travel day tomorrow is a good one. See you tomorrow. Avery and Alyson says "Hi Papaw!"

Hey Dwight and Larry: I know that by now you all are very tired and ready to come home in one way, but hate to leave in another. I can't wait to hear about your trip! Both of you were with me on my very first mission trip and inspired a love to share Christ with others all around the world. I'm counting the days that I get to go back to Africa! I have been praying for you and will continue until you arrive home safely. The student ministry at Christ Fellowship has also been in Belize this past week on missions. Didn't know if your paths might cross or not. Take care and enjoy a little "down" time today. Much love to you both!

Hey Dad! Sounds like things are wrapping up there for you all. Hope you all have some fun "free" time tomorrow. I know you all are probably disappointed with the numbers but God knew in advance who would be there and He sent the ones that needed to be there. We went and visited with Mom tonight. She made a great supper (roast beef/gravy, mashed potatoes, cornbread/rolls, corn and green beans. Me and Angie cleaned some for her so hopefully you won't have too much to do when you get home. After we cleaned and ate supper we went up and visited with Barbara and Tucie for a while. Tucie was in bed. She had 2 doctor's visits today and was pretty wiped out I think. She never got up but we did get to visit with Barbara. She was doing well. Same ole Barbara. The girls are both good. Oh, and by the way Avery said "mamaw" tonight at the supper table. Of course we all cheered for her and she thought that was really great. Seemed really wierd with you, Mackenzie and Lee gone. Our little family had shrunk seemed like but we still enjoyed the visit and have just gotten home and gotten Avery in the bed. Kind of tired so think I will go rest and read for a bit before bed time. Hope you all have a good day tomorrow and a safe trip home. Hopefully we will get to be at the airport Sunday night. Talk to you later. By the way, did Kristy's mom get okay last night? I hope so. Have they already left to come home or do they have to stay a while with the baby? Love - Amy, Lee, Avery and Alyson

Larry, I am glad the teen camp is over because I know you all are ready for some rest. I had the family over for supper before Angie and her family leave for vacation. Mackenzie will be home from basketball camp tomorrow. From what I hear they played some good basketball. One game last night he scored the winning basket. If I don't hear from you any more I pray you will have a safe trip home. I love you and will be looking forward to seeing you. Call me when you get back in the states. Love, Brenda

Greetings to my fellow Belizian mission team members! As you know from Travis & Jordan, the trip home went well. I've prayed daily for the success of the team, and have anxiously read the daily summaries, and have rejoiced at your success during the week. I've also been blessed this week during the moving, as well as by the sale of my Alabama house. God's blessings are abundant to those that love and serve him! I love and appreciate you all. I hope that you have a safe trip home this weekend, and look forward to seeing you in the states. I hope Garrett and Nathan haven't become too exhausted from playing "bug ball"! Keep up the good work for I know God will continue to bless his obedient servants.

Dwight, just wanted to say "hi" before falling into bed. Hope everything is going well there for all. Riley saw Dr. Pais today. Her blood work was down some and he is somewhat concerned because she is so pale. But her energy level was good, so we are praying for no Knoxville trip, or the alternatives. But God does what doctors can't. It sounds like your week is busy and productive. It was good news about the people accepting Christ. We are down to 97 hours till homecoming. I miss you. Terry is going to mow tomorrow. Take care and hurry home. I love you. Leona

It's me again Papaw! We miss you & can't wait to have you home. Riley went for a check up with Dr. Pais today and her levels have dropped a bit (9.9). She is still energetic & active so Dr. Pais was pleased. We will still continue with lab work weekly until she is stable. He is really hoping her surgery coming up will have good results afterwards. She told him she wanted to be a doctor today when she grew up. Just wanted to update you on Riley ... Hope you are having a wonderful time & I can't wait to see you! Love You ...

Hey dad! It's great to hear through the daily narrative that God is so good! Hope you have received a blessing on this trip. It sounds like you all have been working really hard on getting the message of salvation out to people. We are still missing you very, very, very much here and can't wait to see you; however, I guess mom will have to give you a great big hug for me when you come home because we will have already arrived at the beach. I love you dad. Be safe and God bless.

Hey Papaw! Hope everything is going well. We are all doing good, but miss you very much! Sunday lunch just wasn't the same & I didn't get to see your smiling face sitting up front at church yesterday. Riley & Brayden are doing good. Riley sees Dr. Pais on Wednesday here in Kingsport & we haven't had to go to the lab in 2 weeks! God is amazing isn't he? Brayden misses you too, but Mamaw is keeping him occupied by spoiling and feeding him :) He is starting to stand by himself now. It won't be long before he'll be running down to your house! Riley is keeping your chair warm until you return ... She has asked us everyday when Poppie is coming home. We have enjoyed seeing the pictures of you ... I am so PROUD to be able to call you MY Papaw! We love you and can't wait to have you home! 6 more days!

Dear Angie and Amy, Just got in from going to eat at a place in Belmopan, the capital of Belize and a short distance from where we are.I was touched by your Father's Day comments. I actually sat here and cried and so thankful for two daughters that God blessed your mother and I. You have indeed made us proud. I am thankful for the others as well-Morris, Mackenzie, Michala, Lee, Alyson and Avery. Please give them all a hug for me-Papaw. Certainly wish I could be there but I'm so glad you understand that I am doing the will of my heavenly Father. I have been overcome many times since I have been here as I have been touched by situations like never before. Yesterday, Frank and Ralph won a street fellow to the Lord in Belize City that Frank had befriended two years ago. You can read about it on the Uriah blog. Thanks again for taking the time to write as I needed to hear from the ones that I love dearly. Please pray for me and the team as we begin the Teen Week tomorrow. It will be very trying but we're trusting the Lord and I'm sure HE won't let us down. I love you dearly and look forward to some hugs and kisses next Sunday night-Lord willing!

Dad - Just wanted to wish you a Happy Father's Day. Sorry that we can't be together but I know that you can feel our hugs and kisses all the way there. You are and have been such a Godly example in my life and to my family. We are so appreciative of what you have done for us. I am very proud to say that the reason we are apart this Father's Day is because of kingdom work and I know that you are doing what you feel you are called to do. Alyson (as well as the rest of us) have prayed for you daily. She says please give Papaw a good trip in Belize. I don't know that she understands exactly but I know that the Godly heritage that you are fullfilling will be passed down to the next generations. We love you and miss you dearly. I think Mom is getting lonely and homesick for you to come home but we are checking on her daily. She is doing better and gaining strength each time I see her. God is and has been so good to our family and it started first with you and Mom being the parents you are too us and grandparents to our children. Avery says "Hi Papaw" in only the sweet way that she can. I laid her on her changing table this morning and she said "Papaw". She hasn't forgotten you yet. I love you and wish you a very Happy Father's Day. xoxoxo (from all of us)

Dad, (Larry) From the pictures it looks as if you are in your element. Working hard and sweating. My prayer has been that God would use you in a great a mighty way this week to just impact one person for the kingdom and from the pictures of the older woman your group has done just that. I will miss you on this Father's day but what a joy to know that you are on a mission for our Heavenly father -- what a way to honor him on this Father's day. Just know that I love you and thank God that he has given me a godly example to follow. We all love and miss you. Take care and come home soon. Happy Father's Day from your daughter. Love Angie

Dwight, Good Morning to you and the team. We got rain last night, and a storm. I have to work today and have had two early days this week. Riley did not have to be stuck yesterday, since last week's blood work was so good. No more blood work till next Thursday if all goes well. God is good. Riley came down and was looking for popppie. She decided to just sit in poppie's recliner. Sounds like your boat trip was fun and a cool ride. I hope you have a great day . Take care and I love you and am praying for you. Leona

We really do miss you. Tell the team to say a prayer for Riley. She has blood work tomorrow. Tell Larry "hi". I occupy my time with studying my books. Could you fit into someone's suitcase who is coming home this weekend? If so, I'll pick you up. Be careful and have fun. I love you much more. Leona

Hi Frank, hope all is well. Sorry to tell you that Greece/Israel trip will have to be postponed/canceled due to lack of interest in paying early deposits. God knows best and we will trust Him for working things out. Deposits were going to be overnighted to Tony in NY by Friday before he leaves on Saturday the 16th for vacation in Israel. I have also talked to Kenneth Hill and he is aware of the situation. Don't work too hard. Stay well and safe. See you soon.

Hey Larry,

I got your message about the Narrative. I noticed that it posted in the section from our Trip. I've now moved it to the correct place in the current team's section of the site. The only narrative I saw was the one that you posted yesterday, I didn't see the one that you posted this morning. I'm not sure why it didn't post. The only thing I would recommend is to advise everyone that when they type in their message, to highlight it all and right click with the mouse on the highlighted text and select 'copy' before they submit their message/narrative. That is just in case the internet signal is lost before it can successfully post, they can simply reload the page and right click in the text box and click 'paste' without having to type their message all over again. I apologize for not catching the problems with the narrative earlier :-( You should be good to use the Narrative page now and inserting them should put them on the correct place on the website under the current team's trip. Also, I've updated the pictures page to link to Body and Soul's picture page where people can just click through the days to see the pictures. Please let me know if you experience any other problems and I'll get them fixed as soon as I hear from you. God Bless you all and keep up the good work!!!

God Bless!!!
