Messages To Team

Date and Time Posted: Saturday July 18, 2015 - 1:54:02 am

Dear mission team, I just read the latest narrative and I was so touched by the accounts, especially the ones of the elderly lady who by all accounts would soon be leaving her earthly home, but God had a different plan for her, and I can onky imagine how many lives she has touched and shown others what god has truly done for her and healing her frail body so that she may also be able to do something as simple or not so simple as raking her yard. And I sit here and think u know I maybe hald her age and even tho I may have health issues, how many times have I actually been happy or excited about yard work? Few to none unless its done.she is such an inspiration to me to see how she trusted n our Lord and even when things didn't look so good for her and the younger generation seemed to also think she was in her last earthly days. It goes to show u all in God's time and its how and when he chooses he's done with what he has set out for u to do here. I feel like I have failed God so many times and probably on a daiky basis the main thing and its a biggy by not lettin others see Jesus in me and my daily life. And not letting my actions do my speaking for me and my actions making non christians think well I saw sheri do this and I don't even do that, she says she's a Christian and I'm not, so what's the point attitude. Or being like jonah and just telling god no ! I don't have time right now to witness to this oerson, or make excuses like what if I get tongue tied or mess up what I need to tell them, even tho its in the bible and the words r easy enough for a 1st or 2nd grader to read and understand it enough to realize that they r at the age of accountability when they know jesus died for our sin so we can be with him n heaven for eternity. It makes me sad at the times I have failed him but u kniw what the amazing thing is? Even thio I have failed him over and over again, he has neber failed me, he has never left or forsaken me even when I truly deserved it. God is a merciful but just God and we as Christian need to tell the world thqt we r christians and show others they can be saved too by believing n him and turn from the ways of the world. The elderly gentleman who says he's a born again Christian makes me beat myself up again, how many times have I NOT said I'm a born again Christian and then shown others by my daily life that I was? And the little things i taken for granted such as a first aid kit or a pack of baby wipes, but most importantly, when purchasing such items at the store when I mess up again and don't share with someone what god has done for me and our family? When I can remember Logan, being at my husband's mamaws funeral and standing qt her casket with some other young children his age who were crying, and outnof the mouth of babes (Logan) saying I'm sad too that mamaw Annie wlnt be here to read with me anymore, but ill see her in heaven because I have Jesus in my heart. and u will too if ur saved before u die. Most of the other kids gave logan a puzzling look and all I kept thinking to myself is that I should go get him before he confused one of the kids since he was saved about a month before his great grandmother went to be with the Lord, but it was like I couldn't move a muscle for as ling as they stood at her casket and I give God the praise and the glory for not allowing me to move even thoughIit was scary for me, he knew what he was doing as he always does. It goes to show u that not only does he give us the chance to wittness to other thru giving out first aid kits to those n need or for him to give a opportunity for a child at the tender age of 6 the strength, the courage and ability to remember the verse n the bible that sums it a up what Jesus did for us and its up to us to accept him without leaving even the smallest word out...John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. We will continue to pray for the precious people n Belize, for mission teams coming and going, for souls to be saved, for the labor being done for these people who don't have what we have and take for granted, for the sick, lonely, bedridden, etc and for traveling graces back home to us. And pray for me to remember to listen to what God is telling me to do, but most importantly to do what he asks me to do and not only witness to people, but be a walking testimony, so that others see Jesus in me so I can be like that 6 yr old boy that listened to what god wanted him to do n a way his peers understood enough get the, to realize they could get to heaven, amd there is only one way...THROUGH SALVATION and gentleman who was a 'born again Christian'
