Question Question Question Question

Hey everyone,

I completely understand the situation. I'm still learing a ton of new things too. It took me a few minutes just to find where to reply to your problems Smile

The first thing is to not worry, I'm going to be showing it again ( with working internet ) to everyone when we go to our house next weekend. But here's somethings to get you started.

NOTE* you'll probably want to copy / paste (by highlighting the text and right clicking and selecting copy or paste) these instructions into notepad or word so you can reference them as your making the steps below.

#1: To edit your profile, you can click on 'My Account' next to the 'Community Forums' link at the top or you can select 'My Account' from the User Info menu on the left side of the screen. Once you're at the 'My Account' section, you should notice an extra menu on the left titled 'My Account Tools'. There is where you can edit your profile, private, and registration information (names, location, etc).

#2:To edit your Avatar, simply click on 'My avatar' under the Personal section of the 'My Account Tools' Menu once your on the 'My Account' section (see #1 on how to get to 'My Account'). When you click 'My avatar' you should see a Show Gallery button, if you click on that you should be able to choose from a ton of avatars that are already loaded in the website. Simply click the little circle below the picture you want and then click save.

#3:To post a reply to the forum, click on the 'Post Reply' button at the end or top of the forum. I noticed that you (CheerBandie) had posted a prayer request, so you would reply to any other forum in the same way. I did notice that you tried to bold and italicize parts of the message, this can be done when entering the message by using the buttons in the text editor as your typing your message. But be sure that they have a close and end tag. You should see a tag get added as you click the button. For instance if I wanted to bold my name, it should look in plain text something like [ b ]jeff[ /b ], without the spaces before and after the b and /b, but I had to make spaces now show it would show correctly. Anyways, if that is typed in the text editor, it will look like jeff you can italicize in the same wayk, but use i instead of b and it will look like jeff. Color is done in the same way, for instance in this message everything that I've types is surrounded with [ color=red ]blah blah blah[ /color ], again without the spaces though. And you could just change blue to red and it'd be red.

#4: Let's let pictures wait until this weekend and I'll show you all how to do that at once. It'd be kinda long and confusing to type out Wink

I know that's still confusing, but again, don't worry because I'm going to give a good thorough presentation of this this upcoming weekend.

I would advise that you go ahead and play around with stuff for now and get your questions ready for this weekend so I can answer then and show you at the same time. But feel free to keep asking.....I'm going to create a forum for question as well, be sure to check it out in the community forums section.

I hope this helps answer a few of your questions.

Love ya guys,
    -Jeff & Becca
